As  you can imagine, Evelyn and Steve receive way more requests for their Met tours than they can possibly do.  If you would like to do the tour, there are a few ways to do so:

 

1. Submit a Charity Bid.  Every year, Evelyn and Steve auction off a Met tour at the TriState RC Gala, which supports the Legionary seminary in Connecticut.  If you would like to put in a bid for that, you can do so here.  The minimum bid for this event is $15,000 and entitles you to come with a total of 8 adults to the tour by Steve and Evelyn and a priest, and includes dinner for everyone afterwards, where the tour gets unpacked.  Evelyn and Steve pay all the costs of the tour and the dinner at of their own pockets, so 100% of your donation will go to the seminary. Tristate RC is a registered 501 3c.
    

2. Enter the Lottery.  Each year, two tickets to a tour night get picked out of a lottery from the email list that Steve uses to provide the friends of the tour with updates on the tour, on the stock markets, and on general spiritual musings.  If you are already on this list, you are in the lottery; if you would like to get on the list and join the lottery, send us your email.  This year’s lottery will be held on March 31.
    

3. Buy the book.  Another way to take the tour is to buy a copy of Pilgrimage to the Museum and use it to guide you through the Museum on your own.  Steve wrote Pilgrimage to allow more people to do this and those that have have found the experience very rewarding.  So if the charity bid is outside your budget, and you don’t win the lottery, please consider a self-guided tour!
